தம்பிக்கு இந்த ஊரு

எம்.ஜி.ஆர். காலத்து கதையையும், இன்னொருவரது ப‌ட டைட்டிலையும் உல்டா செய்தால் வெற்றி பெறலாம்.. என பரத்திற்கும், பத்ரிக்கும் (இயக்குனர்) யார் சொன்னார்களோ தெரியவில்‌‌லை?! அதை அப்படியே பிடித்துக் கொண்டு அடித்து தூள் பறத்த புறப்பட்டு, ரொம்ப அடியும், கொஞ்சம் தூளும் பரத்தியுள்ளனர்.

கதைப்படி, சிங்கப்பூரில் பெரிய அளவில் ஹோட்டல் தொழிலில் கொடி கட்டி பறக்கும் பரத்திற்கு தன் ஒரே மகளை கொடுக்க விரும்புகிறார் பரத் அப்பாவின் நண்பரும், சிங்கப்பூர் பெரும் கோடீஸ்வரருமான முக்கியப்புள்ளி ஒருவர். ஆனால் அவரையும், அவரது மகளையும் மறுத்துவிட்டு, படத்தின் ஓப்பனிங்கில் ஓரிரு சீன்களிலேயே தன் மனங்கவர்ந்த இந்தியப் பெண் சானாகானுடன் கனவில் வாழ்கிறார். காதலை சொல்கிறார். ஆனால் சானாகான் பரத்தின் காதலுக்கு பதில் ஏதும் தெளிவாக சொல்லாமல் இந்தியாவிற்கு எஸ்கேப் ஆகி விடுகிறார். அந்த வருத்தத்தில் இருக்கும் பரத்திற்கு, மேலும் ஒரு அதிர்ச்சியாக… அவர் இதுநாள் வரை பெற்றோர் என்று நம்பிய சிங்கப்பூர்வாசிகள் நிழல்கள் ரவி, யுவராணி இருவரும் நிஜமாக தன்னைப் பெற்றவர்கள் இல்லை என்பதும், தன் பெற்‌றோர் தமிழ்நாட்டில் இருப்பதும் தெரிய வருகிறது. அப்புறம்..? அப்புறமென்ன… காதலியையும், பெற்றோரையும் ஒரே நேரத்தில் தேடி சென்னை வரும் பரத்திற்கு எண்ணிலடங்கா அதிர்ச்சிகள் காத்திருக்கின்றன. அவை எதுமாதிரி அதிர்ச்சிகள்? அவற்றில் இருந்தெல்லாம் பரத் மீண்டாரா? காதலி சானா‌கானை கரம் பிடித்தாரா? பெற்றோரை பார்த்தாரா? உள்ளிட்ட வினாக்களுக்கு விடை சொல்கிறது தம்பிக்கு இந்த ஊரு படத்தின் மீதிக்கதை!

பரத், சமீபகாலத்திய பரத்தின் வழக்கப்படியே ஒரு ஆக்ஷன் ஹீரோ அவதாரம் எடுக்க விரும்பி, அடித்து உதைத்து நடித்திருக்கிறார். காதல், வெயில், எம் மகன் உள்ளிட்ட படங்களின் நாயகன் பரத்தை இதுபோன்ற படங்களால் மீண்டும் பார்க்க முடியாதா? எனும் ஏக்கமும் எழுகிறது! பாவம்… உஷாராவாரா பரத்?!

சானாகான் ஒரு சராசரி கதாநாயகியாக சிங்கப்பூரிலும் சரி, சென்னையிலும் சரி, பாடல் காட்சிகளிலும் சரி… தன் பங்கை சரியாக செய்திருக்கிறார். சிம்புவுடன் நடித்த அதே பொண்ணுதான்னு அடையாளம் காண்பதற்கு வசதியாக, என்னமோ பண்ணுற… டிஸ்கோவுக்கு போகுற… அல்ரெடி நேரமாச்சு…. பாடல் ஸ்டைலில் ஒரு பாடலையும் இப்படத்தில் வைத்து, அதில் பரத்தையும் ஆட விட்டுள்ளனர். அடடே!!

பரத்தின் ஒரிஜினல் அப்பாவாக பிரபுவும், வில்லன் திருமலையாக ரஞ்சித்தும் பாத்திரமறிந்து நடித்துள்ளனர். மற்றொரு நாயகி மாடல்ஷா, எம்.எஸ்.பாஸ்கர், தலைவாசல் விஜய், நிழல்கள் ரவி, யுவராணி, பிரமானந்தம், சரண்யா, ஆர்த்தி என ஒரு பெரும் நட்சத்திர பட்டாளமே இந்த படத்தில் பங்கெடுத்துள்ளது.

பரத்தின் அப்பா பிரபுதான் என்பதை முன்கூட்டியே யூகிக்க முடிவதையும், பரத்தின் அங்கிள் வயது காமெடியனின் இரட்டை அர்த்த காமநெடியையும், அவரது நடை, உடை, பாவனைகளையும் குறைத்திருந்தால் சில காட்சிகளில் படம் பலவீனமாக தெரிவது தவிர்க்கப்பட்டிருக்கும்.

சாலை சகாதேவனின் ஒளிப்பதிவு, தரண், பிரவின்மணியின் இசை உள்ளிட்ட எண்ணற்ற பலங்கள் இருந்தும் மேற்கண்ட பலவீனங்கள் சிலவற்றால் பத்ரியின் கதை, திரைக்கதை, வசனம், இயக்கத்தில் வெளிவந்துள்ள தம்பிக்கு இந்த ஊரு, பரத் தம்பிக்கு முழு அளவில் சரியான ஊராக அமையாதது வருத்தம்.
